TOTAL INCOME AND PROFIT

NTPC recorded a total income of Rs.353,807.00 million during 2006-07 as against Rs. 293,393.00 million during 2005-06. Net profit after tax is Rs.68,647.00 million as compared to Rs. 58,202.00 million during the previous year.

CAPITAL STRUCTURE

As on 31st March, 07 the authorised share capital of NTPC is Rs.100,000 million and the paid up share capital Rs. 82,455 million.
