The
operating performance of NTPC has been considerably above the national average. The availability factor for coal stations has increased from 85.03 % in 1997-98 to 92.12 % in 2007-08, which compares favourably with international standards. The PLF has increased from 75.2% in 1997-98 to 92.94% during the year 2007-08 which is the highest since the inception of NTPC. |
